PEPPI OILFIELD
The Peppi Field, which is situated southwest of Kanni in the southernmost portion of the PCC area, was discovered in 1975.
The field currently produces 0.86 MMCFPD of gas and 2 BOPD oil from three gas wells and one oil well, respectively.
The field produces from two sand levels that have a combined gross thickness of 333 feet. The individual net pay thickness
ranges from 23-82 feet. Significant untested oil and gas potential exists at similar sand levels at three of the Peppi wells.
The Peppi structure is a steeply dipping, faulted anticline that produces from reservoir sands of Early Miocene age originally
downdip and seaward of the Kanni Delta system. The log signature of these sands suggestive of deposition in a distal delta or delta margin environment.
